Through the supergroups of the 70's and the protest of punk that followed in their wake, rock music has continued to mirror a youthful view of the world; a world that towards the close of the 80's reverberated, in Band Aid, and Live Aid, to a global concern reflected in rock music. This style pulls it's ancestry from classical, Jazz, urban and nomadic styles. There is no limit to what sort of a sound can be developed and arranged for guitar, bass, and drums. The ability to display personal style and taste has never been as accessible in any other form of music, save perhaps folk singers. [AW] {BM}
