Nature of Crimes
A crime consists of two aspects: the act and the intent. It is possible to
do one without the other
without commiting a crime. For example, if someone were to say that
he would steal $100 from
a man, then he has committed the intent but not the act. There are
two types of
crimes: felony and misdemeanor. Of the two types of crimesthe felony is more
serious. A felony,
for instance, is punishable by long-term imprisonments or (in many
countries) by death.
