Recent Cuba

Throughout the 20th century Cuba has fallen under dictatorship by leaders such as Fidel Castro and Batista. Tensions between Cuba and the US arose when Soviet-supplied missiles were found in Cuba. The relations between Cuba and the USSR made the west uncomfortable and led the US to enforce trade embargos in 1964.
