Cerebellum
The cerebellum is a portion of the brain which is
involved in the control of skeletal muscles, and helps
to coordinate voluntary muscle movement. The
cerebellum is located in the rear of the cranium, and
is the second largest part of the brain. It is
composed of the cerebellar cortex, lateral lobes,
central flocculonodular lobes, medial vermis, and deep
nuclei.
