Liver 2
It is one of the busiest organs in the
body performing many functions at the same time. The
liver secretes about 1 litre of bile per day, a
substance which helps to digest and absorb fats. It
also stores and metabolizes many molecules so that the
body can use them. Liver disease is common when high levels of alcohol are consumed.
