Cerussite
Cerussite is chemically known as lead carbonate. It is a white or colourless mineral that is quite
brittle. This mineral is a form of chemically altered galena (lead sulphide), and is usually found in
nature along with galena and barite. Deposits can be found in Colorado, USA, and Italy.
Cerussite is mined as a source of lead.
