Ethers
An Ether is an Organic Compound that contains a type of bond in which two Alcohols condense, meaning Water (H2O) is removed.
The resulting linkage is C-O-C, or two Organic radicals joined by an Oxygen Atom.
Ether is commonly used as a sleeping drug (anaesthetic) in surgery and as a solvent for oil in the laboratory.
