Vitamin B6 - Pyridoxine
Pyridoxine, a water-soluble vitamin, is also recognized as vitamin B6. In the body,
pyridoxine is converted to pyridoxal-5-phosphate, which is used in moving amino acid groups
from one compound to another when the body makes proteins. A deficiency in pyridoxine can
lead to lesions on the face and nerve damage.
