Clastic Sedimentary Rock
Clastic sedimentary rock forms when rocks are broken into smaller pieces by weathering,
then moved and deposited somewhere else. The size of clastic sedimentary rocks ranges from
smaller than a grain of sand to larger than a human being. Sandstone, a common material
used in constructing buildings, is a clastic sedimentary rocks formed from cemented sand.
