HELP INDEX NEXT UP PREVIOUS FEEDBACK ATG Vector

A vector is a quantity having both magnitude and direction. Therefore, in specifying a force, one must state not only how large it is but also in what direction it acts.
Many physical quantities are vectors, such as force, velocity, displacement, and momentum.
A vector quantity can be represented graphically by a directed line segment, symbolized by an arrow pointing in the direction of the vector quantity, with the length of the segment representing the magnitude of the vector.
