Neutrons

A Neutron is an atomic particle found in the nucleus, or centre, of an atom. Neutrons are sluggish relative to the Electron due to their larger mass and carry no charge (i.e. are neutral). A given Element has a certain number of Protons, but the number of Neutrons can vary. For example, Oxygen always has eight Protons, but it can have eight or ten Neutrons. [LM] {CC}
