Multiple Personality
A dissociative disorder where one part of someone’s personality "breaks away" from the other part.
This "separation" is a way of trying to cope with severe stress or anxiety.
Since the two personalities have completely separate memories,
creating a second personality is a way for someone to "remove" at least part of themselves from a traumatic event or thought.
